Friday Short Notes

on Friday, July 10, 2009

My fractured arm still hurts though I am able to move it more. I have some nasty bruising, big purple spots on my shoulder, an enormous bruise on my leg from where my leg hit the bike. By next weekend, I *could* be back on the bicycle though I think I may be going on a trip with Chris to a Fiat event in Oregon. He has been asking me to go with him for years but I have not gone for fear of the heat, dirt and strange Fiat people. Now that he could take or leave me, I'm willing to go. What does it all mean?

Tomorrow is my grown-up son's (zes) birthday. I have no idea their age. I can't remember. I should celebrate because I'm the one who carried twins, did most of the work and delivered 14.8 ounces worth of baby boys on my actual due date (that much I *do* remember). All they had to do was suffer under my tutelage.

Happy Birthday to my sons. Thanks for all the joy and torment. I love you because of and in spite of.

Super good-looking boys. Looks like they were doing just find under your tutelage up to that point! :-) I agree, **you** should celebrate.

Maybe you want to go because it feels more like your choice?

Hope you arm and bruising heals quickly POD.

Which twin is oldest? My younger sisters are identical twins.

It's not Santa Cruz but Oregon's not so bad...if you go to Portland, you can visit Powell's.

Rest that arm! I know you will, but you know...I feel better letting you know my wishes too. :)

Also- you had twins? I'm so impressed! I can't even imagine how hard that must've been.

And I love the pic of them - they look happy and healthy. :)

Oh my gosh, they were cute little guys!! I'm pretty sure they didn't "suffer" much under your tutelage!

Hey, Oregon is halfway here (well, partway, anyway!) - you might as well keep on coming and visit me!! :)

Hope your arm is better soon.

I hope the Oregon trip goes well (I've never been), and your arm keeps healing. We'll get there, buddy, you'll see :-)
