Baby Face

I got myself a facial for V Day. The esthetician ground removed ten years off my face using microdermabrasion. I am not sh*tting you! I have not had a facial since before cancer. Back then I didn't think I'd be alive to have another one. The facial was great, the results remarkable and the relaxation was phenomenal. I'm going to do it again soon.

A friend and I went out for Cambodian food that afternoon. She was not having the greatest of days though she also had the foresight to think of me on that day, knowing there was a chance I'd be bummed as it was hallmarkzalesfloristspendmoneyanywaypossible Valentine's Day. I was coming off the high of my facial so I was feeling fine. My friend said my face was glowing though it was glowing from greasy facial stuff, not the facial itself, and I had planned ahead to treat myself. The dinner topped off my day, our conversation was interesting. On the way home, I stopped and saw Hannah, my fave valentine. She was excited and without being prompted told me, "Happy Valentine's!"

On the holiday of President's Day, I "worked" so I had time to download the remainder of the holiday music I'd purchased this past December on iTunes. I guess I was too busy in December to finish downloading the music. I was checking out my iTunes "library" and since I started using iTunes, at .99 cents per song times 595 songs currently in my library, I could buy myself at least one hours worth of live klezmer music or I could have 5 more facials. Five facials times 10 years off my skin per each facial would put me back to my birth year which would remove the threat of buying more music off of iTunes for quite a while.

I'm glad you had a great Vday. Cambodian food sounds interesting -we don't get much more than the Chinese Super Buffet around here. Facial, huh? Hmmmm, I could use a few years peeled off my face, as well.

The facial is my VERY FAVORITE spa treatment - glad to hear you were so good to yourself!

I have never had a facial and could use a few years being ground off...can I pick my late 30's?

Good that you treated yourself to some well-deserved pampering on THAT day.

I have had facials that I LOVE but have never had my skin "sanded" (isn't that what microdermabrasion basically is?). Doesn't it hurt???? You deserved a treat so good for you.

I would definitely opt for the facials...you can listen to music anywhere. Turning back the clock would be a no brainer in my book :-)

I haven't had a facial in years. I'm probably going to have to wait a while before considering a facial.

I'm glad you took some time to pamper youself on V-day. Ahhh...baby face.

Sounds like the facial was just the ideal thing to do to celebrate V-Day. I hate that holiday myself. If I didn't have 2 granddaughters to send stuff to, I'd ignore it totally. My hubby wouldn't care either!

Have a good week!

I could stand to have a couple (three?)decades ground off my face, too. Why didn't I think of that? I just might have to treat myself - St. Patrick's Day is coming.
(there's a joke in there somewhere about believing that a facial will take that many years off this old face and believing in leprechauns.... you figure it out, 'kay?)

A facial? Hmm - I have heard of this thing - mainly from my American friends. I think I will investigate. Sounds great! 10 years off?? Whoa! Bring it on!!

Glad you had a good V day - over rated, over hyped twaddle in my opinion. We need a *special day* to love other people?? ewww...

This facial thing sounds like a splendid idea, now to make some time for it and I too can look younger and radiant just like you!

Beautiful wee one! Such a gem!

Facials are a necessity. I had one not so long ago called a Golden Caviar something something facial. It lasted like an hour and fifteen minutes, and my skin STILL feels good. This is what I got ScottieDog for Valentine's Day. He loves facials too! He just has to find time to go get it.

You look MAAHHHvelous!
