Progress

Hannah is staying at bammah's house this week while her mom and dada are on their honeymoon in Cabo with those guys that make the tequila.

This morning Hannah was waiting for me on grandma's front porch when I drove up. She wanted me to sit on the porch with her while she finished eating breakfast. We talked about the squirrels and the birds. We went into the house and she put her arms around me and said, "I love you so much."

A bit later Hannah came into the office and asked to sit on my lap. Normally having her sit on my lap is fine though my knee is killing me from being too fat arthritis. Hannah likes to sit on my lap while we take pictures. We have a bunch of photos going back for a couple of years.

Tonight Bammah and papa volunteered to take Hannah and her wicked stepsisters to a school function in the cafeteria where there will be lots of screaming singing, punching, hair-pulling, and the school band will play. Good luck, Grandma and Grandpa -- have a great evening!

P.S. In case you forgot or did not read my blog back very far, I had chemo and lost my hair only to be trendy so I could choose my whimsical, bald hairstyle.

I can't believe you aren't going to the school "event" - ::snicker::

Love that you have such a neat photo album with Hannah - both of you have changed a lot, but one thing is most evident - you adore each other.

Beautiful photos, all.

I'm with Shelley - what the hell kind of relative are you - missing out on those precious school functions?

BTW, I do adore your whimsical hairdo...

Dangit, I knew I forgot to use "whimsical" in my dream like post lastnight. lol That would have been perfect huh? Yeah, that was my real voice...and man you are one tough lady to listen to the whole thing. Yeah, I came over here to say thank you and now I see listening to my singing made you lose your hair!! lol So, so sorry.
:( Don't worry, I shaved my head too just so we can be bald together. Now, I'm off to go read your post on "Progress"! :oP

You and Hannah are beautiful. I love seeing all the pictures of you two together. A bond like that is something to cherish. My niece is now an adult on her own and I miss the days she would sit on my lap and let me take pictures of her.

You've come a long way, baby ;)

shame on you! I'd go just for the hair-pulling...hair pulling being my fave now that I have hair again too ;o)

love the photos - you two are so cute [ha!! I see that face you just pulled!!]. So good to have the precious things in life.

love your current hairstyle by the way. I am thinking of having mine cut now that I have proved it grows back ;o)

ee - the word verification is skulk??

How dare you not go to the school event when she loves you so much! (hee hee hee) The photos are great and how lovely to have that history of you and Hannah documented.

I left a thank you for you on my blog today. At least come read it even if you don't choose to pick it up.

I know you were so sad to miss that event. :)

What a wonderful thing to have a progression of photos with Hannah. A gift to be sure.

Thanks for bringing me back to memories of my grandmother. I used to spend summers with her. She was always my favorite. Times to treasure.

You guys have a really special bond and I think that's just awesome. I was never too close to my gramma, but I was very close with her sister...my great-aunt Cecil. She was wacky but I sure loved her a lot. You're both super lucky to have each other :)

So great you get to see the world thru a little person's eyes. It is THE ultimate in my humble opinion.

Just think, someday she will be telling her kids about stuff you said and did. Oh, and how disappointed she was that you skipped her school event. lol
