Some time
ago I published an article asking for your feedback. We were all very excited,
so many of you commenting to see (although I did not get to answer all the
comments, we have a list of things we will be hard in the coming months). A
proposal made by Marcin (thanks!), was of particular interest to me. "What
inspires us?" Wonder. Let me put it another way - that inspires us?
Learning
something new is for any aspiring Toko Baju Online photographer vital, not to mention how
interesting it can often be. But one question - who learn? There are many
photography forums and blogs around, good and not so good content, and it may
take some time until differentiate accordingly. Fortunately, just when I
started my business of wedding photography about two years ago, I came across the
blog of Ryan Brenizer and learned that he is one of the best techniques I saw
there - the method Brenizer Panorama.
Panoramas
have been around since the days of film cameras and not really designed for
this type of images through the use of a longer film of 35 mm or medium format
conventional part been trained. Today, most point and shoot cameras and some
DSLR and mirrorless cameras are able to take panoramic images automatically,
and, frankly, often the result of spectacular. So what is so special about this
method called Brenizer Panorama? Now, take a look at the image below.
I took this
photo with my Nikon D700 camera and a 20mm f/0.5 lens set, and gave himself to
the image of my customers a full 80 megapixels if you are printing large, for
those of you curious enough to want to ask. It was a great day and a great
wedding. No one really cared about the rain in the opposite direction, and less
beautiful bride with make-up and hairstyle. Since I ...
Wait. A 20mm
f/0.5 lens? That can not be right ... right?
1) Meet the
Author
For those of
you who do not know, Ryan is a professional wedding photographer in New York
City, and has more than 200 weddings done now. I would say it was a separate
(and very successful) photo journalist before finding her passion for weddings,
but I'm afraid I would never, or better able, he has to be (a quote from the
website) these words:
Photography
has filled me with purpose and joy and has taken me to places I never thought I
would go. I have covered three U.S. presidents, been blessed by the Pope, and
have been viewed by Muhammad Ali. I have shared a laugh with Smokey Robinson,
and had a photo that I if he used of him, received an award for his career. I
have photographed a woman who is 110 years old, and she told me that it. Torch
to the Statue of Liberty I was the only independent photographer near Obama and
McCain had voted at its last meeting before the 2008 elections. I am the only photographer
in the world, was officially represented by the three largest photographic
retailer in the Western Hemisphere. Heck, I even had a photographic technique
that bears my name (which is crazy).
But I have
never been so blessed by photography as when I felt photographing a wedding. At
weddings, we are more visible to us - the walls we to go with collapse under
the forces of joy, fear (and sometimes a little alcohol). To document this
experience, the relationship between friends, family and a pair brings a new
phase in her life, a great feeling. If a customer says "This is the first
picture I've seen of my parents that actually looks like her!" I feel as
if I have done something with lasting value. After years of shooting and over
225 weddings under my belt, I still find each be more exciting than the last,
and try all doing the best that I have photographed.
While in all
honesty, I can not tell if there was someone before Ryan, who made his name
trying for good reason, the technique mentioned scenario that carries it.
Thanks to Ryan and his continued use of the Brenizer method many professional
photographers have learned and this to be a way to experiment with a variety of
different ways and try something completely new place. As far as I know, he is
the sole founder of this technique, and for many photographers, including
myself, we are deeply grateful. What's it like to share tricks?
2) What is a
method Brenizer Panorama?
I keep
talking about it, but it really is a Brenizer Panorama and how it differs from
traditional large panoramas we all know? Well, first - surprise, surprise - a
panorama, and so, as with any other image, photograph, and then merge multiple
images for a larger viewing angle and / or the higher image resolution. But
here's where the similarities end.
In
conventional panoramas tend photographer, mostly landscapes or interiors and
urban landscapes to shoot, and turned on when the camera shot for shot, most of
the time you shoot horizontal (or vertical, or a little of both). Brenizer method
panoramas, however, are the most popular (but not exclusively) images where you
have to shoot around your subject, as much as he. But most importantly, the
Brenizer method emphasizes the amount of background blur (bokeh) and the depth
of field in a given field of view. The best way is to be relatively (or very)
close open wide lens at your subject and a photo as soon as possible (or almost
fully open). In my practice, 50mm f/1.4 (for a wide viewing angle) and 85mm
f/1.4 (even more emphasis on the blur background) class lenses work great for
this, but you can of course use other fast lenses (35mm f/1.4, the 50mm f/1.8,
85mm f/1.8, 135mm f / 2 and so on) with very good results.
The first
example scenario has been used in this article, with the beautiful 50mm f/1.4G
AF-S Nikkor f/1.4 lens - I had to put together about 30 images to achieve the
final result, but it was worth it.
Do you have
a DSLR photography and want shallow depth of field cameras larger sensors? Try
this method, it will also make these images shot with less grain at high ISO
values, if you decide to downsize.
3) How to do
it?
While it is
a relatively simple process for anyone who has tried panoraming ago, there are
some basic things to consider when you're on the rules. These are the steps you
often:
Pre-view -
it is important for you, your final image and composition to imagine, so you
know what to cover and when to stop. You do not know that part of the image is
cut off with time, and therefore you should shoot a little more than you have
to think. If you think that the image is vertical, it is possible that the
vertical fragments makes it easy, or you want to pursue a horizontal panoramic,
horizontal fragments will be easier. Whatever you decide, make sure that no
gaps or spaces to be left as soon as this panorama stitching, to severely cut
or completely destroy the place forced.
Lock
settings - if you have focused, set the shutter speed, aperture, and (if you
prefer JPG) white balance, be sure to lock all settings. Manual focus and
exposure mode M works best for me. Some may prefer to use the AE-L/AF-L on the
back of the camera or focus with the AF button instead of the shutter button in
M mode to keep the exposure and focus, to change, as it moves through its
environment.
Overlay - to
make it easier right for panorama software, you must ensure that the images do
not overlap even more to make about 30-50% down, however. Too many images are
in more stitches, the more error you have found a way to pass the time can
cause find to fix. If you find that the seam does not work, delete unwanted
images.
Start with
your subject - when photographing people, read first cover, and then moves
systematically around them, while at the same time, considering that the areas
already served. Make sure that you have taken the first theme is easier for
them, since it is difficult not to postpone the process for a longer time.
Remove balls
- shooting with lenses wide open in some severe vignetting that can ruin your
final panorama lead. I usually in Lightroom 4 process my images individually
and remove the lens vignetting correction with tab before sewing the final
panorama. I've noticed that Photoshop does a good job of removing bullets with
his Photomerge function, cut my best moments and makes them look lifeless and
gray.
It should be
easy - not to start with 50 + image panoramas! Sewing them can be a long time,
depending on how powerful computer to take. Panoramas made by 10, 6 and up to 4
images may seem surprising, and are best if you just want to learn this new
technology and all its idiosyncrasies. In addition, straight lines are often
difficult to manage because of parallax, so keep that in mind while you
practice. Remove lens distortion in the lens tab can help straight lines. If
you are planning group portraits take note with this technique is that the
resulting image will likely be a significant curvature of field of focus, so it
is best if you keep your distance and use a longer lens, which will result in
less movement chamber.
Experiment -
while the Brenizer method works wonders with images that can be used in many
other situations, whenever you feel the need for a wide viewing angle and depth
of field. As always - try to experiment and find new ways to make it work for
you. They are different as are all the other Cute short hairstyles for thin hair photographers, it only makes sense
if the technology is used differently, too!
In the end,
it seems much more difficult than it really is, and all of these steps are, of
course, once you become accustomed to them.
4) What
about the software?
Photoshop CS5
works quite well, but also need a little time. Occasional errors occur, but
most of them are due to my lack of ability - after all, this technique must be
mastered properly so that for every critical shot you never use it without
secure with regular catches. Generally, I use auto setting in Photomerge in
CS5, but sometimes it gets so bad, then I have to spend a little more time to
experiment with other options. Also for all you shrink D800 owners before
sewing! In most cases, you are probably a 200 megapixel image will ever need,
even if the team finally managed to finish this scenario.
There are a
lot of special software panoramic stitch, but I have not tried yet. I hope that
allows them to work faster, and maybe even better than Photoshop CS5
Photomerge. I hope to try some, and if I do, I'm going to be sure to share my
findings.
